Running a small business is a labor of love, but it’s also incredibly challenging. At LEDBaseline and Luma, we know we’re not just designing and building lighting products. We’re working hard to stay visible and competitive in a market dominated by large companies with massive budgets and full teams behind them.

Our team is small. Every product we ship is crafted with care, whether it’s a custom LED liquor shelf for a bar or a glowing plant shelf for someone’s home. We don’t outsource production or cut corners. Everything is built right here in Colorado with a focus on quality, durability, and design.

One of the biggest challenges we face is pricing. It’s difficult to compete when similar-looking products are listed online for much less. But we also know those products often lack the customization, craftsmanship, and customer support that we provide. Many are mass-produced using lower-quality materials with little attention to detail or follow-up.

Despite that, we keep going. We continue to improve our designs, answer every customer inquiry ourselves, and explore new ideas. Our new lines like LumaLeaf and LumaLux are the result of listening, learning, and staying creative even when it feels like an uphill climb.
